Responsibilities of Management/Enforcement/Dissemination
of EEO Policies
Paul Cooper, General Manager of KGGF-KUSN, has
overall responsibility of hiring and of enforcing all EEO policies and to continually review our employment unit’s performance
and adherence to the Commission’s EEO rules.
All current employees have been advised of our stations’
EEO policies and have received a written copy of same. Future employees will be advised of our EEO policies during the interview
process. Employees have been encouraged to advise their immediate supervisor of any complaints they may have of prejudice
or discrimination in the workplace.

KGGF-KUSN, constantly analyzes its EEO Recruitment
Program and to its effectiveness and outreach. Our pay and benefit plans are equitable for each appropriate position, and

SUPPLEMENTAL OUTREACH INITIATIVES
February 1, 2009 – January 31, 2010

1st Initiative As part of
our supplemental outreach initiative KGGF-KUSN co-hosted Southeast Kansas Job Fair held April 1, 2009 from 1 pm – 6
pm on the campus of Coffeyville Community College.
The station employment unit participated in the planning,
recruitment of employers to attend and promotion of this event with area co-sponsors including the Southeast Kansas Human
Resources Association, Montgomery County Action Council, Kansas Works and Coffeyville and Independence Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to all of the above organizations, more than
a dozen other area employers had representatives at the job fair.
Station personnel involved with this event included Paul
Cooper, General Manager, Ron Curran, Programming Staff, Anna Bolinger, Marketing, and Lance Allred, News Director.
2nd Initiative Home and Garden
Show at the Armory on April 25, 2009, we had a booth with applications. Radio Results staffed the booth with radio personnel
to answer any questions or inquiries regarding the broadcast industry.
3rd Initiative On June 30, 2009 our radio
station KGGF-KUSN sponsored a job fair, located at the Sleep Inn Convention Room in Coffeyville, Kansas. Other Exhibitors
were Judy Furnas, Bob Pilcher with Pre-Paid Legal and Pat Bonneil with Watkins Products.
Station personnel were on hand to disclose
information regarding the Radio Broadcast Industry and answer any questions, possible future employees might have.
Activities to fulfill: In continuing
with our supplemental outreach initiative, KGGF-KUSN plans to co-host, organize and participate in a job fair in conjunction
with the Montgomery County Action Council and Kansas Works, during the next EEO reporting period. This job fair is still in
the planning stages but the tentative date and location is September 8, 2010 at the Independence Community College Sports
Center.
KGGF-KUSN is working with Cheryl George,
guidance counselor with Field Kindley High School. We are setting up an internship program that will begin September 2010.
This will be an on-going program that students will participate in both first and second semesters of every school year. Students
will receive hands-on training in technical operations, commercial copy writing, production and basic programming skills.
